WHERE TEAMS ACTUALLY DISCONNECT.
Eighty private acres in the Santa Cruz mountains, thirty five minutes from San Jose and twenty from the coast. Company picnics, holiday parties, board offsites, and executive retreats all work here. You get a setting people remember and the infrastructure to actually run a day in it.
BUILD THE DAY YOU WANT
Morning yoga in the meadow. A group scavenger hunt around 80 acres. A working session in the lodge. Team building outdoors, a long dinner, an evening of mingling. You bring the agenda and your own vendors, and we help you shape the day around the property.
Waterfall is a bring-your-own-vendor property, so you can hire the people you want. If you'd rather start from a shortlist, we're happy to send our preferred vendor list and help you build a retreat to remember.
TWO WAYS TO BOOK
The Full Property. All eighty acres, 33 cabins, the Redwood Meadow, and the lodge. For the length of your stay, nobody else is on the mountain. The right fit for company-wide offsites and anything where you want the place entirely to yourselves.
The Redwood Meadow. New for 2028. A day in the meadow, with space for team building activities, breakout sessions, and meals under the trees. Day use only, so the lodge and cabins are not included. A good fit for team days, board offsites, and leadership meetings.
Tell us roughly how many people you're bringing and we'll walk you through which one fits.
WORK, THEN PLAY
Come make Waterfall Lodge & Retreat your own and feel at home. Settle in. Stay a while.
Wi-fi runs in the lodge, so that's where the working sessions happen. Everywhere else is for the other part of the trip: the sunny meadow, the trails, the fire pits, and thirty three cabins to head back to at the end of the night.
ROOM TO GATHER
The property gives you distinct spaces instead of one big room, so a day can move. Break out, come back together, eat somewhere different than you met.
Spaces your group can use:
• The Lodge, with an equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, and two bedrooms
• A sunny meadow surrounded by redwoods for croquet, bocce ball, or bucket golf
• Firepits and outdoor gathering areas
• Hidden stones patios throughout the property
• Nature paths and hiking trails
• Reclaimed 19th century barn
• Towering a-frame cabins
• Elaborate balconies and travertine stone grounds
